Synopsis
The story begins with Raj (Salman Khan), a struggling singer in Mumbai, who finds himself entangled in an elaborate web of mistaken identities and emotions. His rescue of Pooja (Rani Mukerji) from a car accident leads to her wealthy family mistaking him as their daughter’s eloped lover. Raj seizes the opportunity, motivated by dreams of wealth and success. However, things become complicated when Jahnvi (Preity Zinta), Pooja’s best friend, enters the picture, sparking a romantic connection with Raj.
The love triangle takes a dramatic turn when Pooja awakens from her coma and expresses feelings for Raj. What follows is a classic Bollywood mix of emotional conflict, unspoken truths, and a resolution that emphasizes love and honesty.
While the premise is intriguing, the narrative becomes predictable, leaning heavily on typical Bollywood tropes. The film’s emotional depth is often overshadowed by its melodrama, making the story engaging but far from groundbreaking.
