Synopsis

The plot centers around a talented Black artist whose promising career is suddenly interrupted by a visit from his estranged father, a recovering addict. The father, desperately seeking reconciliation, enters his son’s life with a painful past that the artist has long tried to escape. The story explores their tumultuous relationship, where both struggle with their emotions, particularly the burden of forgiveness. As they navigate their complex feelings, the father and son discover that the act of forgetting might be more complicated than forgiving, challenging them to confront their past in order to build a new future together.
